Agora Andorra International School is a private school located in the heart of the Pyrenees. Our principal objective is to educate our students to be multilingual, responsible, ethical, and capable young people, with the motivation to succeed in all areas of their lives. Our school offers full linguistic immersion and excellent educational standards, and we are authorised to teach the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) at Post 16 level. Moreover, we have excellent boarding facilities for international students.

We are currently looking to appoint a new Boarding School Monitor.

✅ The ideal candidate will have:

  • Preferably a degree in Physical Education (INEF) or related field.
  • Previous experience in boarding schools, residential environments, or similar settings (experience with adolescents is essential).
  • Fluent spoken English (minimum C1 level).
  • Dynamic, proactive personality with a passion for working with young people, motivating, guiding, and inspiring them.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.
  • Willingness to live in the residence during shifts, including nights and weekends as part of a rotation schedule.
  • Availability to commence in September 2026. 

📌 Main responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily life of a boarding residence. 
  • Provide care and residential supervision, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Collaborate closely with the academic team regarding students’ performance and wellbeing.
  • Monitor compliance with community rules, promote autonomy, and encourage positive habits.
  • Organise and participate in activities inside and outside the residence: sports, wellness, excursions, workshops, social events, and weekend programs.
  • Act as the main point of contact for parents/guardians, communicating incidents, wellbeing updates, and other relevant matters.
  • Work residential shifts, including nights and weekends, according to rotation.
